Let Us Remember

Let Us Remember

As we each and all struggle along in life there seems to be something that gets in our way too often. This thing is our own strength, coupled with pride. We do not recognize this, of course. We tell ourselves someone or something else is to blame, and we can handle it. If this does not affect you, then you are one of the very few, and to be commended for your humble self control and weakness in life. The rest of us need to slow down, or stop, and re-member who we really are and how we got where we are. Let us recall how God made us in His own image and created all things for us to be good stewards of, according to His instructions. Let us never forget He called us to Him, and through Christ’s sacrifice, has offered each of us eternal life through obedience to the Word; following the pattern of good christian conduct every day in all things. Our lives are just that–life; to be carried out daily, good or bad, no matter what comes our way, or befalls us by tragedy, disaster, or enemies. Remember, GodLoves Us! We should rejoice in this knowledge, and call to remembrance, the fact that we are God’s, and not our own. God has given us the ability to maintain through weakness and humility on our part, while being supported by trust and faith in, and obedience to God’s power and strength, always being protected by His Love. May we each hold fast to these basic survival lessons–lessons leading to eternal life no matter what comes in our lives. When we abide in God’s Love and direction, He has promised each of us that eternal home with Him in heaven. There should be nothing else controlling our lives, as there is nothing else but death–eternal death–if we try to go it on our own. Let us remember!
